Winter Wonderland
The Student Center held the annual Winter Celebration from 11am to 2pm today. It was the first year that I actually attended and let me just say, it was FANTASTICAL! The Christmas music was blaring throughout and there was tons of food to eat. There was grilled cheese, soup, cotton candy, snow cones, and they even had a chocolate fountain that you could dip strawberries, pretzels, graham crackers, and marshmallows into. Groups and organizations were handing out goodies or selling products. There were holiday crafts that students could make. They had button making, gingerbread and cookie decorating, ornament painting, and much more. Santa Claus even made a special appearance. People could get a picture with him if they wanted. It was super cute! I was doing all the activities for at least 2 hours. I personally think that was the best event the Student Center has ever put on since I've been a student here at Keene State. I'm already marking my calendar for next years.
