Last night the Mable Brown Room was bumping with loud tunes. The noise could be heard from outside the student center. Art Jam was the event that took place on December 5th from 5pm to 9pm. There was free food, music, and fun!
It was really quite a site. Amazing art work was displayed all around the room while in the center people were drawing and creating more masterpieces on giant pieces of white paper. When people weren't drawing, they were dancing their hearts out to some music. The funky bands that took the stage were: The Northern Sea Robin, The 123s, and The Big Sway. All three bands rocked out and put on wonderful performances.
The night was a total success. There was a great turn out of people. It doesn't surprise me, when you put two great things together like music and art, it's obviously going to be a party. If you weren't able to go, wait for next year. The organization that put it on, Art Collective, will most likely do it again.
